Punta Blanca

Location

Teeth of the Dog was the first of four championship courses designed by Pete Dye in Casa de Campo. Opened in 1971, Teeth of the Dog is considered one of the finest golf courses in the world consistently ranking by golf experts among the top 50 golf courses.

Description

Teeth of the Dog golf course designed by renowned architect Pete Dye opened in 1971 and has long been revered as the best golf course in the Caribbean. The course features seven ocean holes, each scenic enough to grace the cover of any golf magazine. While having some of the best views in golf, it seems somewhat forgiving and manageable, but tends to bare its teeth at least once per round.

Signature Hole

The signature hole 5 is a par three nestled in a rock cove on he ocean’s edge shaped like a dog’s snapping jaws. As if the scenery weren’t captivating (and terrifying) enough – the foam spraying off the rocks makes it difficult to concentrate on your shot.
