The Ritz Carlton Reserve Riviera Nayarit is scheduled to open in 2021, after an investment of more than US$150 million. It will have 110 luxury rooms, suites and private villas with views of the sea and the cliffs.

Other upcoming projects include the Rosewood Residences and Rosewood Mandarina, a 130 room hotel, suite, and villa with decor inspired by prehistoric local cultures. Its opening is scheduled for 2022.

The Iberostar chain will open the new 300-room Iberostar Grand, The grand opening of the world’s first Cirque du Soleil theme park is also expected.
